Cowin Lush - by David Marchant.

Cowin Lush was a Locws Art across the city commission.A social interaction was carried out on Wind Street Swansea in October 2012. The party goers were asked to draw their self portraits on an 8x4 chalk board later to be turned into Neon and hung on the trees in the same situation. Its intention was to create public Art "by the People for the people".

The project was well attended and was mentioned on Radio Wales. It had a right up in Artists notes and B.B.C wales interviewed David about the Artworks.

The neon work is now on display at Bull Jam Gallery in Mumbles, Swansea.

"On it til i Vomit" slang Swansea slogan inspired by the social interaction - "Cowin Lush". Prints of the below image are available from Locws International and Bull Jam Gallery.
